There are three distinct seasons: the 'cool weather' Winter, a
fiercely hot and dry Summer followed by the warm, wet and humid
Monsoon. The summers are extremely hot and the winters
pleasantly cool, even cold in the far north.
Winter: November - March (24 °C days, 9 °C nights
in the north; 29 °C days, 18 °C nights in the south; dry).
Summer: April - June (40 °C days, 26°C nights in the
north; 38 °C days, 24 °C nights in the south; dry).
Monsoon: Usually from July to September in the North (35
°C days, 25 °C nights, very wet, high humidity).
From June to September in the South (31 °C days, 22 °C nights,
